This young couple is a real energy bomb. All day long they are chasing, exploring, running around. They are still young, so laying eggs is not yet time, but we have high hopes for them.
The male is reserved and reserved, and doesn’t like to be touched. Curious, but only in moderation. The female is a real little fragile flower, shy and cuddly. She almost always seeks refuge behind the male, who is eager to protect her.
The only time this great understanding breaks down is at mealtime… They fling themselves frenetically at the food, but only at the delicious morsel in the other’s mouth. Then they cling to each other’s heads to get the morsel. We don’t know the reason or how to stop it, even though they get equal food, it doesn’t matter…
When the meal is over, their love is rekindled, so there’s nothing to stop them from enjoying the warm rain together. They don’t swim or drink from their pool, but they love the rain.
They can stand stiffly for minutes and enjoy the rain, drink from it or even clean themselves.
All in all, they make a wonderful pair, strong and healthy. We are looking forward to the first hatch.
